Junior Copywriter

Business Unit:  Shared Services
Division:  Corporate Marketing & Communications

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

Junior Copywriter conceptualizes and creates engaging content that is disseminated across various channels, which may include print, television, digital, and/or social. The Junior Copywriter produces error- free content and has the skills and attention to detail to edit their own work.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Writes advertising copy for the integrated resort's business units.
  • Crafts social media posts, scripts, and infographics for internal and external communications.
  • Works with the Creative team in executing brand campaigns and collaborates with other Corporate Marketing & Communications sections to build new concepts and strategies.
  • Ideates and creates timely, engaging, and original content for the brand's social media pages and other channels.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

Education Requirement:

  • Graduate of Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising

 

Experience Requirement:

  • 2-3 years of advertising/marketing background with extensive client and interactive experience

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Leadership Skills:
    • Able to efficiently manage several projects/campaigns at a time.
    • Able to work in a team environment to execute interactive projects.
    • Able to participate in client presentations/reviews and brainstorming.

 

  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong portfolio highlighting creative and communication skills.
    • Expert written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communications in English or other spoken languages is an asset.

 

  • Other Qualifications:
    • Has an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques.
