Designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and real-world skills, Okada Manila’s internship program immerses participants in the dynamic operations of a five-star resort. Open to students from a wide range of academic backgrounds—such as hospitality, business, marketing, communications, human resources, and more—the program offers placements across various departments including Food & Beverage, Hotel Operations, Human Resources, Corporate Marketing and Communications, and other support functions. Interns are welcomed through the GROW Orientation, a first-day walkthrough of the property that sets the tone for a meaningful learning experience. Over the course of the program, they undergo hands-on training, participate in enhancement sessions on topics such as business writing and professional etiquette, and gain exposure to the high standards of the hospitality industry. The journey culminates in a special recognition event that highlights their contributions and growth.

Since 2023, the program has hired a total of 41 interns into full-time roles, proving its effectiveness as a gateway to meaningful careers. Okada Manila now welcomes over 100 interns each quarter, making it one of the most sought-after training grounds for aspiring professionals.

Recognitions from top educational institutions further underscore the program’s impact. The Polytechnic University of the Philippines honored Okada Manila with a Recognition Award for Collaborative Engagement. De La Salle University-Dasmariñas presented a Certificate of Appreciation for its outstanding support of student internships. St. Dominic College of Asia awarded Okada Manila as the Best Industry Partner for Hospitality and Tourism Management. Parañaque City College and other partner schools have also acknowledged the resort’s commitment to mentorship and excellence.
These recognitions are made possible through Okada Manila’s active partnerships with respected institutions, including Lyceum of the Philippines University (Manila and Laguna), Our Lady of Fatima University (Valenzuela and Antipolo), St. Dominic College of Asia, and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
