Engineer - Technical Response (BOH)
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Engineer – Technical Response (BOH & Podium Response) will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs on the facility of the whole casino/gaming/podium area. The Engineer will also supervise some repairs on mechanical, electrical and plumbing within the gaming area.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Planning / Project Control / Reports / Operations / Personnel:

- Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the gaming area prior to the developing the General Plan.
- Responds to facility maintenance concerns
- Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventive maintenance projects
- Supports gaming area maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklist.
- Assist in the supervision of temporary maintenance associates
- Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
- Deals with guest related concerns
- Maintain the guest room, public space, and gaming areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel
- Prepares status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
Operations
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Personnel

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supervise project staff. May delegate supervision for portion of work.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Registered License Holder of this discipline.
Experience Requirement:
- 3 – 5 Years experience as a Project / Site / Construction Engineer or any Supervisory Experience in a Construction related Company, Hotel, Casino, or Resort experiences
Skills and Attributes:
- Computer literate in MS Office applications.
- Good telephone manner and customer service focus.
- Demonstrate knowledge in engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, budgeting, employee supervision and personnel management.
- He must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- He or she should be competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and smaller projects, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work on overtime when needed.
- Good health, physically fit and excellence in personal grooming and presentation.
