I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Cage Cashier is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the operation of Cage Department according to relevant regulations and maintaining accuracy of the inventories.
III. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Performs credit and debit card advancements, exchange cash, chips, foreign currency, slot and online gaming transactions for patron
- Handles transactions in chip bank, main bank, and marker bank
- Encodes transactions into the casino management systems
- Transfers cash, chips, foreign currency, and documents between cages
- Performs balancing in all front window, chip bank, main bank, and marker bank inventories every end of shift
- Performs chip rotation regularly to ensure the correct quantity
- Performs preparation and replenishment of cash floats for cage windows and other company outlets
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Management
IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- At least High School graduate
- College Graduate is an advantage
Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years operational experience in Count/Cage operations in a high volume/large casino, Foreign Exchange Counter, Retail Cashier, or Bank Organization is an advantage
- Preferably with basic cash handling and/or casino or bank experience
Skills and Attributes
- Technical Skills:
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge in MS Excel and Mathematics
- Good analytical skills
Other Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge in both oral and written English
- Knowledge of Japanese/Chinese language is an advantage
- Able to work on a shifting schedule, weekends or holidays
