Architect - Technical Response
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Responsible for all Architectural maintenance of all areas under Gaming and Podium specifically the Casino and Public area. Responsible in planning and organizing, monitoring until completion, quality control check and confirming of design plans and perspectives of all architectural work orders and service requests.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Work Orders / Service Requests, Forbes Audit and Hygiene Audit findings
- Monitors all work orders and service requests related to architectural.
- Assesses the feasibility work orders and service requests received.
- Determines the prerequisites of the activity particularly the materials needed and manpower requirement prior to execution
- Determines the prioritization of items listed on the audit based on operational requirement of the area concerned as well as the safety/risks
- Coordinates with different business units regarding the timeline and other precautionary measures to mitigate disruption in the normal operation of a certain area prior to execution
- Supervises the activity until completion and regularly updates all business units relevant
- Submits an accomplishment report and documents all necessary information upon completion of tasks
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree or Advance Diploma in Architecture and a Registered License Holder of this discipline, With Master's degree (advantage but not required).
Experience Requirement:
- 3 – 5 Years experience as a Project / Site / Construction Architect or any Supervisory Experience in a Construction related company or Hotel, Casino & Resort experiences.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent technical knowledge in Architectural and Construction related job and assignments, including coaching, supervision, staffing, planning and reporting.
- Has an excellent oral and written communication skills. Would be able to explain technical matters to relevant business units
- Must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment and must be competent in handling simultaneous tasks
- Experience in Hotel or related field preferred
- Excellent in personal grooming and presentation pertaining to Hotel FOH (Front of house) standards
- Excellent in CAD Software skills, Engineering Drawings, Design Plans and MS OFFICE Knowledge.
