Technician - Security Infrastructure
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all CCTV equipment allocated to support Security, Surveillance, PAGCOR and Gaming Operations within the Casino environment. This position takes responsibility for support and guidance to less experienced Technicians, and as required.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assists Systems Support Team in ensuring all tasks are allocated and completed within the agreed time frame
- Carry out various routine maintenance tasks such as: Camera, Network equipment and access room maintenance
- Manage stock control of consumables and maintain records of works, supplier invoices, etc. as required
- Identify, assess and respond to potential risks accordingly
- Equipment Installation
- Install new IP CCTV and electronic equipment
- Install Installation of electronic cabling systems; primarily network, data and power cables throughout project site as required
- Equipment Servicing, Fault Finding and Repairs
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to all CCTV equipment
- Employ effective fault finding techniques to rectify equipment failure
- Ensure all repairs including all solder work is conducted properly and is of a superior quality
- Leadership and Initiative
- Provide leadership and direction to other Technicians if needed
- Confidentiality and Policy
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to company equipment, procedures and information
- Comply with all company policies, rules, regulations, procedures and department ethics
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelors level degree in any technical field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience Requirement:
- Surveillance Technical Experience required in Casino CCTV whether Analog or IP Camera.
- Experience in Microsoft and Linux Server.
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating in either the Information Technology, Electronic Security or any related technical fields.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to function effectively in a highly confidential environment.
- Strong in relationship building and ability to relate well at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Genuine commitment to internal customer service.
