Senior Manager - Security Logistics

Business Unit:  Shared Services

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Security Logistics Senior Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution and high-level evaluation of logistics functions in support of security operations. This role includes overseeing the supply chain management, fleet management, asset and inventory management, vendor and contractor service coordination, budget utilization, compliance documentation, and team supervision to ensure operational continuity, cost control, and adherence to  organizational standards.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Plan, develop, implement and assess logistics strategies and work plans to support security operations, to include special deployments and emergency requirements.
  • Supervise and mobilize logistics team to oversee the procurement, warehousing, distribution, and lifecycle management of security equipment, uniforms, vehicles, communication devices, and related materials.
  • Establish communication lines with the security and safety management and other stakeholders and ensure accurate and timely documentation of logistics transactions, inventory records, audit trails, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Manage and defend the annual logistics expenditures under the Security and Safety OPEX and CAPEX budgets, to include analysis of expenditure trends, implementation of cost-efficiency measures without compromising operational readiness.
  • Formulate, establish, maintain and review standard operating procedures and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant legal and safety regulations.
  • Lead, train, motivate and supervise logistics personnel to ensure effective performance, professional development, and adherence to standards of accountability.
  • Provide timely management feedback to Security Operations, Procurement, Finance, Facility Management, information Technology, Housekeeping, Transportation and other internal units to align logistics support with operational requirements and schedules.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational and/or Training Requirement:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Project Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields considered an advantage.
  • In-depth training on logistics management, business administration, research and analysis, and project management.

 

Experience Requirement:

 

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain operations.  Experience in a security, project management or operational support environment is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate experience in team leadership, vendor management, and asset control.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and familiarity with (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning, or inventory management systems.
