Senior Manager - E-commerce & Digital Analytics

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Senior Manager reports to the Assistant Director, Digital Marketing and is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge and understanding of ecommerce and 3rd-party sales platforms. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing the marketing communications strategy for the company’s online direct sales channels, digital tools, and 3rd-party marketplace platforms to drive online sales performance. The Senior Manager will work closely with hotel revenue team, strategic marketing, internal Corporate Marketing & Communications team, resort and hotel operations, IT teams and external OTA / TA partners to drive innovative online marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance the resort’s online presence and increase bookings targeting to Free Independent Travelers (FIT) markets.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategy that targets FIT markets to drive direct bookings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust tactics and optimize online offerings.
  • Monitor sales performance, traffic, and customer behavior; analyze data and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, PPC, SEO, and affiliate marketing.
  •  Utilize data analytics to track campaign performance, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with internal Corporate Marketing and Communications team to create compelling sales campaigns across multiple digital marketing communications platforms, advertising and social media.
  • Enhance the resort’s website and landing pages with high-quality, engaging content that appeals to target audiences.
  • Manage online promotional activities and special package offerings to drive interest and bookings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, online travel platforms, and influencers to expand reach and drive direct sales.
  • Collaborate with local partners and tourism boards to promote the resort in FIT markets.
  • Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, digital engagement, and market trends for senior management.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

 

  • Minimum a University/College degree of any 4-year course related to Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, Hospitality, Digital Technology or related qualifications.

 

Experience Requirement:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, hospitality marketing, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Proven track record of driving direct sales and increasing online conversion rates.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
