Officer - Supplier Relationship Management
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Officer - Supplier Relationship Management oversees the end-to-end execution of supplier lifecycle processes and serves as the operational team lead for the SRM function. This role reviews and approves qualification and accreditation outputs, manages the annual supplier evaluation cycle, and leads the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for non-compliant or underperforming vendors. The Officer also provides coaching and mentoring to SRM Specialists, leads requesting division end-user orientation and training, supports SRM-related project planning and implementation, and recommends process and operational improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience. This role can be assigned to handle complex to highly complex SRM transactions.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Processes supplier invitation & registration to accreditation. This includes securing from vendor’s pertinent documents (legal, financial, regulatory and business), undergoing audits (e.g. hygiene), qualification, conducting supplier assessment report in coordination with risks, and accreditation.
- Lead the execution of the annual supplier evaluation program, including refinement of evaluation criteria, coordination with internal departments, consolidation of results, and communication of outcomes to vendors.
- Manage the supplier document maintenance program, ensuring systematic tracking of document validity, timely renewal reminders, and prompt updating of supplier records in the Supplier.Bid portal.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, PISM CPP) is an advantage.
- SAP Ariba is an advantage
