Multimedia Designer (Resort and Gaming)
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Multimedia Designer is the creative mind behind the digital, print, and audio-visual materials used in advertising, marketing, branding, and employee engagement. He/She combines text, audio, animation, photography, and video to create informational and impactful content.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Develops and produces multimedia pieces for use in print and digital media.
- Creates motion graphics compositions to be used in-house and out-of-home digital executions and campaigns.
- Produces video content for advertising, marketing, branding, and employee engagement requirements.
- Finds solutions for non-traditional digital and technical media such as public area screens, casino screens, television, and social media.
- Collaborates with brand marketing, copywriting, and public relations teams to determine appropriate visual, textual and animated elements of projects
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- Degree in Visual Arts or Multimedia Arts.
Experience Requirement:
- 2 years in the creative field preferably in a creative agency or production house.
Skills and Attributes:
- Able to take ownership of one’s designs and concepts.
- Able to call out design work that is inconsistent with Branding standards.
- Able to analyze and execute project briefs prepared by business units.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Other Qualifications:
- Able to keep up with emerging trends in terms of design and techniques.
- Good understanding of Branding and its relation with aesthetics and communications.
