I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Engineer - Technical Response is responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in Hotel rooms and assigned areas. The Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and equipment.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Planning / Project Control / Reports / Operations / Personnel

• Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the Hotel, Hotel Property, restaurant and grounds.
• Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns
• Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventive maintenance projects
• Responds to all building related safety concerns
• Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures.

Operations

• Maintains safe and clean working environemnt by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations

Personnel

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Attainment:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Architecture.Registered License holder of this discipline, With Master's degree (advantage but not required).

Experience Requirement:

• 3-5 years experience as a Project / Site / Construction Engineer, Hotel / Building Engineer or any Supervisory experience in a Construction related company or Hotel, Casino & Resort experiences.

Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent Technical knowledge in Hotel Operations and Construction related job and assignments, including coaching, supervision, staffing, project, and management proficiency. Excellent in oral and written communication skills, CAD Software skills, Engineering Drawings, Plans and MS Office Knowledge.
