Director - Infrastructure & Network Services

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Director - Infrastructure & Network Services is responsible for the strategic leadership, architecture, delivery, operation, and continuous evolution of all network, infrastructure, cloud, communications, and data centre services supporting the Integrated Resort.

 

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this role ensures the availability, resilience, security, and scalability of the technology platforms that underpin gaming operations, hotels, food & beverage outlets, entertainment venues, convention facilities, corporate operations, and guest-facing digital services. Champion the AI driven automation of Infrastructure, network and security transformation

 

Operating within a highly competitive and heavily regulated gaming environment, the role is accountable for maintaining 24x7 mission-critical infrastructure while driving modernization initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity posture, support business continuity, and enable future business growth.

 

The position leads a team of infrastructure and network professionals and works closely with business leaders, technology partners, regulators, and operational stakeholders to ensure technology services align with the strategic objectives of the Integrated Resort.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Infrastructure & Network Strategy

  • Develop and execute the Infrastructure and Network Technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Establish technology standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks for infrastructure services.
  • Ensure technology platforms support current operational requirements while enabling future growth and innovation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence.
  • Eliminate repetitive manual work/interventions through workload automation

 

Network Operations & Resilience

  • Provide leadership for all enterprise network environments including campus, core, distribution, wireless, internet, WAN, and connectivity services.
  • Ensure highly available, resilient, and secure network services across all resort operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain network redundancy and failover capabilities to support uninterrupted business operations.

 

Data Centre & Infrastructure Services

  • Lead the modernization, optimization, and lifecycle management of the Integrated Resort's data centre environment.
  • Oversee compute, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure platforms.
  • Ensure infrastructure capacity planning aligns with business growth requirements.
  • Drive infrastructure automation and operational efficiencies through modern engineering practices.

 

Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure

  • Develop and govern cloud adoption strategies and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
  • Ensure cloud environments are secure, compliant, scalable, and cost-effective.
  • Establish cloud governance frameworks, operational standards, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage cloud technologies to improve agility and business outcomes.

 

Unified Communications & Collaboration Services

  • Oversee enterprise voice, telephony, unified communications, conferencing, and collaboration platforms.
  • Ensure communication services meet the operational requirements of a 24x7 Integrated Resort environment.
  • Drive modernization of communication technologies to enhance employee productivity and operational effectiveness.

 

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Protection

  • Partner closely with cybersecurity leadership to ensure infrastructure and network platforms are protected against evolving threats.
  • Embed security-by-design principles across all infrastructure initiatives.
  • Ensure infrastructure environments comply with internal security policies, gaming regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Lead remediation activities associated with infrastructure vulnerabilities, technology risks, and audit findings.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
  • Ensure recovery objectives meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead regular testing and validation of disaster recovery plans and failover procedures.
  • Minimize operational risk through proactive planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Network Operations Centre (NOC) Leadership

  • Provide leadership and governance for the Network Operations Centre.
  • Establish operational standards, service monitoring frameworks, and incident management processes.
  • Drive service reliability through proactive monitoring, automation, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents impacting gaming, hotel, guest, and corporate operations.

 

Gaming Technology & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure infrastructure services support regulated gaming operations and associated technology platforms.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable gaming regulations, audit requirements, and technology control standards.
  • Support regulatory reviews, technology audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Ensure infrastructure environments maintain appropriate controls, security, integrity, and availability standards.

 

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with business leaders across Gaming, Hotels, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Finance, Security, and Corporate Services.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Provide trusted technology leadership and advisory services to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure infrastructure investments deliver measurable business value.

 

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, telecommunications providers, cloud partners, and service providers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract management activities.
  • Ensure vendor performance meets agreed service levels and business expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize vendor partnerships and technology investments.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

 

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive infrastructure and network leadership experience within large, complex enterprise environments
  • Experience leading mission-critical infrastructure operations supporting 24x7 business environments.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise networks, data centres, cloud platforms, and communications technologies.
  • Experience within hospitality, gaming, integrated resorts, regulated industries, or other high-availability environments is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure transformation and modernization programs.
  • Strong understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and operational resilience frameworks.
