Cage Supervisor

Business Unit:  Shared Services
Division:  Cage, Count and Credit

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Cage Supervisor is responsible for assisting the cage management in maintaining key performance objectives of all cages, and supervising, guiding, and assisting cashiers in different cage area to ensure that all inventories, paperwork, fill, and credit transactions are processed.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Ensures whole front line operation is in accordance to cage policies and procedures
  • Conducts verification of patron transactions processed by the cashiers through Casino Managing System
  • Performs premium player settlement, online gaming transactions and verifies proper documentation, calculation and balancing
  • Prepares anti-money laundering reports such as Multiple Transaction Log (MLT) and currency Transaction Reporting (CTR)
  • Ensures junket chip exchange, prepares rolling documents for each chipset, and provides report to Cage Shift Manager every end of gaming date
  • Supervises, assists and guides cashiers with the balancing of all Front Window, Chip Bank, Main Bank, Marker Bank, and Team Bank transactions to ensure that all inventories are accurate every end of shift
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Management

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

 

  • Preferably College Graduate

 

Experience Requirement:

 

  • At least 2 year supervisory experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with high volume casino operations within Cage Department

 

Skills and Attributes

 

  • Leadership Skills:
    • Motivational skills

 

  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic computer skills
    • Basic knowledge in MS Excel and Mathematics
    • Basic knowledge in both written and oral English Communication
    • Knowledge of Japanese and Chinese language is an advantage

 

  • Other Qualifications:
    • Can stand for long periods of time in a smoking environment
    • Able to work on a shifting schedule, weekends or holidays
