Assistant - Treasury

Business Unit:  Shared Services
Division:  Corporate Finance

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Assistant Treasury supports the company’s daily treasury work such as processing bank transactions, preparing cash receipt reports, and coordinating with banks and other departments. The role helps ensure that payments and transactions are processed correctly and on time.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Safekeeping and Releasing of checks for managed entities
  • Understanding of cash management, payments, and receipts.
  • Knowledge of documenting transactions and maintaining financial records.
  • Understanding bank accounts, transfers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepares letters of instruction for bank transactions and coordinates with banks
  • Compliance Awareness: Basic understanding of policies, rules, and audit requirements.
  • Responsible by the cash and check received by the team members.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft office applications

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Financial Management or related field.

 

Experience Requirement:

  • Open to entry-level candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in in Banking and Finance, Financial Management or any 4 year business-related course or at least 1 year(s) experience in the related field is required for this position.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of treasury and banking processes
  • Ability to coordinate with banks and different departments
  • Coordinates treasury and payment approvals with authorized signatories.

 

Other Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Positive work attitude and team player
  • Fast learner and willing to be trained
  • Provides administrative support for treasury-related activities and documentation
