Private Bar Attendant

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Private Bar Attendant has overall responsibility for maintaining proper level of inventory in guest room Private Bars to ensure guest satisfaction, and properly storing and securing all Private Bar inventory and supplies at all times.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Attends daily briefing with Private Bar Manager and/or Supervisor.
- Acquires master key before proceeding to work area and returns the same at the end of the shift.
- Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards; anticipates and addresses guests' service needs; assists individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Organizes and maintains cleanliness of private storage and wuipment such as trolley, etc.
- Assists in the monthly inventory of all private bar items.
- Records and submit discrepancy in items and incorrect count or charges.
- Logs summary of day's activities on the Provate Bar Supervisor's logbook.
- Monitors of private bar items that need reordering, submits list to Supervisor and observes procedure of near expiring items to pull-out from guest rooms.
- Ensures proper receipt and issuance of provate bar stock from incoming or outgoing shift.
- Immediately reports to Supervisor any loss or damage to hotel property as well as unusual activities during the shift.
- Endorses lost and found articles in guest floors immediately to Lost and Found Department.
- Follows company's safety and security polocies and procedures and reports any maintenance probles, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and completes safety training and certifications.
- Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by superiors.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- College graduate of hospitality is preferred
Experience Requirement:
- At least one year hotel-related experience.
Skills and Attributes:
- Computer literate
- Good command in both written and spoken English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative and imposes positivity in workplace
- Physically fit and able to move, lift, push, or pull at least 20 kgs.
- Willing to work on holidays and shifting schedules
- Willing and able to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
