I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

• The External Security Officers is responsible for monitoring of all activities within the OKADA premises, to ensure the safety and security of customers, staff and company property and for providing effective support to other operational departments and customers.
• The External Security Officer is responsible to provide supervision and support to all Agency Security (Security Guard/Lady Guard/QRT/K9 Handlers) assigned at OKADA property.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Delivery of exceptional customer service
• Maintain safety of premises and personnel
• Safeguard all confidential information and to exercise due care to prevent its improper disclosure or use
• Deal with conflict situations
• Reports any unusual situation to his superiors
• Perform other duties as directed by External Security Supervisor, SSD EXECOM and above

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

• External Security Officer must be College Graduate or shall have a fundamental knowledge of all relevant acts, laws and associated regulations or directives affecting the operation of the Security & Safety Department.
• Preferably have a 2 years’ experience as Security Officer with Hotel or Resort and have customer service experience

• Trained in two-way radio communication (Tetra Radio Operator Licenses)
• Basic Fire Arms knowledge

Other Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of, and strong commitment to work within a multi-cultural environments including zero tolerance of personal discrimination of any kind.
