Senior Manager - Business Development
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Senior Manager - Business Development is responsible for managing, monitoring and developing the data base for local patrons, ensuring a positive experience during their stay or visit to Okada Manila. The Senior Manager is also tasked with leading and motivating the team to enhance the overall team performance.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Recommends short and long-term marketing stragegies and oversees the daily operations of the Business Development team to gain market penetration for the local market and meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set forth by the Management.
- Strategizes and recommends plans relative to the growth and development of the market share and acquire new business in different regions of the country.
- Monitor the team's performance and ensures that the goal in terms of the new sign-up, reactivation, and patron's attendance in events are met.
- Guides the team on the current and upcoming programs being offered to patrons.
- Provides the team with promoter and agency sourcing strategies to increase4 the Company's market share.
- Encourages all team members to be knowledgeable with the different gaming products and offerings, especially in the VIP areas.
- Manages and accurately updatesthe local High-Value Patron (HVP) database
- Processes accurate transactions in Engage, including but not limitedto membership sign-ups, redemptions and complimentary issuances local HVP patrons.
- Invites local HVPs to VIP events and ensures their personalized service
- Strengthens and nurtures connection with HVPs through consistent communication and personalized interactions to increase visitation to the property.
- Recognizes leading patrons and develops an in-depth understanding of their preferences and gaming habits.
Other Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates business trips for new acquisitions and patron relationship building, travelling to patron's origin as needed
- Reviews and approves the issuance of complimentary services/items (gifts, transportation, food and beverage, and/or rooms) while adhering to the room and complimentary approver and allowable transactions amount matrix.
- Keeps up-to-date with the current market trends to identify new business opportunities and provide recommendations to Senior Management.
- Generates regular reports on player activity, spending patterns and program effectiveness.
- Analyzes patron data to make informed decisions and optimize business development strategies by identifying trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for growth
- Addressess high-level inquiries and concerns that require attention beyond the scope of the Manager - Business Development.
- Reviews implemented processess and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensures that all team members are updated on the latest products, services, promotions and events.
- Updates and declares shared outlook business calendar for weekly itinerary and scheduled appointment with patrons.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the Management.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- University / College diploma preferably in Hospitality, Marketing or Business Administration
Experience Requirement:
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in Sales, Business Development, or similar role within the gaming industry
- Proven sales record preferably within the gaming industry
