Executive - Media Relations
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Executive – Media Relations supports the planning and execution of media relations initiatives that enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization. The role is responsible for coordinating with media partners, assisting in the development and distribution of press materials, organizing media engagements, monitoring media coverage, and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders. This position works closely with internal business units to ensure consistent and timely communications aligned with the company's brand and business objectives.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Coordinate with media partners for press releases, interviews, media invitations, and feature opportunities.
- Prepare, review, and distribute press releases, media advisories, briefing notes, speeches, and other corporate communication materials.
- Maintain and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
- Support the planning and execution of strategic brand partnerships by coordinating publicity efforts and maximizing media exposure.
- Support communications for corporate initiatives, including Okada Foundation, CSR, ESG, and corporate reputation programs.
- Monitor print, broadcast, online, and social media coverage, and prepare media monitoring and coverage reports.
- Assist in organizing press conferences, media familiarization tours, and networking events.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather information and ensure the accuracy of communication materials.
- Support the management of influencer and media partnerships when required.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Skills and Attributes:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using media monitoring and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of media planning, press release writing, and event coordination.
