Assistant Manager - Player Development
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Assistant Manager - Player Development is responsible for cultivating relationships with high-value foreign patrons (HVP), implementing targeted marketing strategies, and leading a team to enhance the gaming and customer experience during their stay or visit in the property.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Facilitate the enrollment process for new members endorsed by the Premium Marketing Business Development team.
• Precisely process transactions in HALo (House Advantage Loyalty System), including but not limited to membership sign-ups and complimentary issuances to patrons.
• Assists in the issuance of complimentary items (gifts, transportation, food and beverage, and/or rooms) while adhering to the room and complimentary approver and allowable transaction amount matrix.
• Coordinate patrons' requests for complimentary transportation, hotel, F&B, or other complimentary services.
• Supervise and guide the Executive Host of Premium Marketing Player Development in their daily tasks, including enrollment and redemption processes in HALo.
• Recognize leading local players and develop an in-depth understanding of their preferences and gaming habits.
• Strengthen and nurture connections with high-value local casino players through consistent communication and personalized interactions.
• Address inquiries and concerns that require the attention beyond the scope of the Executive Host of Premium Marketing Player Development.
• Regularly inspect the gaming floor to ensure the team delivers personalized customer service to our local patrons, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience during their stay or visit to the property.
• Conduct spot audits on tasks performed by the Exeucitve Host of Premium Marketing Player Development team members ensuring accuracy and integrity in all their activities.
• Ensure that all Premium Marketing Player Development team members are updated on the latest products, services, promotions, and events. Guide team members on how to effectively educate the benefits and privileges of our patrons.
Other Responsibilities:
• Ensure that NSU Forms, MPFs, or other important documents are endorsed to the BS – Administration and Training team in a timely manner.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback related to Player Development programs and services to enhance overall customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, demonstrating respect in all interactions.
• Review implemented processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor team performance and strategize on how to achieve set goals/targets.
• Provide leadership and guidance to motivate and inspire team members.
• Ensure the team's adherence to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures and uphold the Service Standards implemented by the department at all times.
• Performance of additional duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the management.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- University/College diploma in Hospitality, Marketing or Business Administration
Experience Requirement:
- A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in Business Development or a similar role within the gaming industry
Skills and Attributes:
- Demonstrates strong decision making skills.
- Has the ability to lead a team of Executive Hosts and Hosts.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills.
- Demonstrates good motivational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Can read, write and speak Mandarin, Japanese, Korea and/or any other language is an advantage.
Other Qualifications:
- Demonstrates good customer service skills
- Good communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Possesses a strong command of the English language, both written and oral.
- Extensive network of players, both locally and internationally.
- Open to extensive travel to contribute to building and expanding the market share.
- Fluency in another language is considered an additional advantage.
