Reservations Officer

Business Unit:  Hospitality & Entertainment
Division:  Hotel

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Reservations Officer is responsible in accepting transportation booking, provides fast confirmation of Transportation arrangement for Hotel/Casino guests and Interdepartmental requirements. The Reservations Officer is expected to provide prompt and accurate assistance to requestors on information relating Limousine services.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Assumes overall responsibility in booking Transportation reservations from all Hotel and Casino Guests including requests from Interdepartments
  • Ensures that all confirmed bookings are plotted accurately, request requirements, charging details and all transportation charges are capture accurately and in a timely manner
  • Provides immediate and satisfactorily response to all pre-plotted, adhoc bookings, amendments and transportation concerns upon receipt
  • Coordinates with requesting departments for the details of each booking to ensure accuracy of information plotted in the Reservation System
  • Communicates with Limousine drivers for the details of each booking to ensure transportation request is served properly
  • Arranges paid transportation booking request through Business Partner and communicate immediately with the requestor’s transportation arrangement
  • Presents and maintain an accurate and timely Transportation reports generated from the Reservation System
  • Documents pertinent information into Logbook to be cascaded to other Reservation Officer during shift change hand-over
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Management

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any course or equivalent professional training

 

Experience Requirement:

  • Aleast 1 year experience as a Reservations Officer in a Transportation section, preferably in a Hotel/Casino/Airport industry 

 

Skills and Attributes:

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of computer based applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

 

Other Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Fluent in both oral and written English
  • Detailed-oriented
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
