PLAY Coach
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
He / She ensures all interactions are pleasant and service oriented, provides information to guests, and delivers personalized and standard services for a delightful children’s recreational experience. Other general responsibilities include maintaining, enhancing and expanding skills and service standards to an excellent level, monitoring stocks, promoting services and retail products to clients, keeping all working areas and equipment in good working order, clean and organized.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas at PLAY as laid down in the SOP of Opening and Closing Procedures:

- The daily opening / closing cleaning maintenance program
- 30-min sanitation every after session

- Assist the guests in a professional and helpful manner when needed.
- Maximizes guest revenue potential, satisfaction, and utilization by delivering kid’s club services & facilities.
- Efficiently resolve any issue or guest complaint (while being mindful of safety, security and guidelines set in the Delegation of Authority).
- Proactively ensure that recovery, resolution and follow-up action or rectification will prevent recurrence of the same or similar issue/incident.
- Ensure that all equipment associated with service function at all time.
- Answer all questions related to kid’s club membership and services.
- Assist with demonstrations, journalist visits, promotional activities and other departmental or hotel events as required.
- Maintain, enhance and expand product knowledge of services, events and facilities of the hotels and surrounding areas.
- Promote an environment where workplace hazards are minimized and the health and safety of employees and guests are valued.
- Attend and adhere to training and guidelines on service quality, product knowledge and obligated technical skills and/or required by the company.
- Diligently complete, track and provide pertinent daily/weekly/monthly/periodic reports, statistics and analyses in a thorough, neat and timely manner.
Other Major Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Strictly abide by and comply with policies related to fire, hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness in work stations, private guest areas and public areas.
- Monitors parent/child feedback.
- Helps in implementing a structured plan for PLAY
- Handles team member concerns as they occur and communicate them to supervisor.
- Assists in the coordination of special staff, member and volunteer events.
- Attends all required staff meetings and trainings. Assists supervisor with facilitating staff meetings.
- Ensures proper set-up and break-down of area on a daily basis.
- Maintain readiness and cleanliness of PLAY by cleaning equipment, toys, and play areas as determined by Policy and Procedures.
- Report any suspicion of child abuse to the Management.
- Encourage children to join prepared variety of daily and promotional activities.
- Provide stimulating materials during activities.
- Encourage socialization activities with other children.
- Interact with children on their appropriate level.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to the management.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by management from time to time
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- College Diploma on Education or related courses
Experience Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years working experience teaching or coaching children in either primary or secondary level & 6 months to 1-year experience hosting kiddie parties, events, and/or program
Skills and Attributes:
- Confident and able to establish strong rapport
- Excellent in interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, ability to anticipate, analyze, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proactive, responsible, alert and agile, has a pleasant personality, efficient, and tactful
