Nail Art Specialist (Req. ID No. 1372)
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
This position is responsible in ensuring all interactions are pleasant and service oriented, provide information to guests and offer personalized and tailored recommendation & services to ensure a delightful wellness and spa experience. Other general responsibilities include maintaining, enhancing and expanding skills and services standards to an excellent level, monitoring stock, promoting the lines of products and services to clients keeping all working areas and equipment in good working order, clean and organized.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Informs, advises, recommends, performs and delivers to guest nail art and nail care services plus assistance in use of facilities and providing retail recommendation/ sales Maximizes guest revenue potential, satisfaction and utilization by delivering and re booking spa and wellness services and facilities. Provide alternatives if their first request/ choice cannot be met
2. Answers all questions related to services and identify the benefit or advantage of treatment.
3. Efficiently resolve any issues or guest complain (while being mindful of safety security and guidelines set in the Delegation of Authority) with to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. Ensure on- going relation and rapport are not compromised with the guest and exceptional guest service is provided at all times. Proactively ensure that the recovery, resolution and follow — up action or rectification will prevent recurrence of the same or similar issues/incident.
4. Maintain, enhance and expands product knowledge of services, events and facilities of the hotels and surrounding areas to ensure guest receive accurate, timely information and advice.
5. Adhere to and exhibit pro- active performance in accordance with internal policies by taking responsibility for ensuring the workplace culture of equality and diversity is fostered.
6. Utilize behaviors of responsibility, accountability and awareness that continually promotes wellness, health and safety.
7. Promotes an environment where workplace hazards are minimized and the health and safety of employees and guest are valued.
8. Work and coordinate well with other Department to ensure smooth transitions/ arrangements regarding all spa and wellness activities.
9. Attend and adhere to training and guidelines on service quality, product knowledge and obligated technical skills and/ or required by the company.
10. Diligently complete, track and provide pertinent daily/weekly/monthly/periodic reports, statistic and analysis in a thorough, neat and timely manner.
11. Strictly abide by and comply with policies related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety and cleanliness in work stations, private guest areas and public areas.
12. Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/ or security issues to the management.
13. Maintain high overall guest satisfaction in all areas and achieve high quality guest service standard.
14. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by management from time to time.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
• Degree holder or certification as qualified nail art specialist or equivalent professional training.
• 2-3 years working experience in nail spa operations local or abroad
Experience Requirements:
• Good command on both written and spoken English.
• Able to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis

• Confident and able to establish strong rapport
• Self-motivated, ability to anticipate, analyze and prioritize multiple tasks.

Technical Skills:
Experience and/or working knowledge in:
