Guest Arrival Officer
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Guest Arrival Officer is posted at the doors and curbside of the property and ensures a pleasant guest experience by immediately and courteously tending to the guests’ needs. Opens and closes the door of the property in order to warmly welcome the guests or bid the guests farewell.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Provides exceptional service to arriving, in-house and departing guests by offering immediate and efficient assistance at the curbside and entrances/exits of the property.
• Maintains accurate and current information on property knowledge, promotions, events, and programs by attending daily briefings and reading the provided materials
• Supports the seamless arrival and departure experience of guests who have availed of transportation to and from the airport by staying up to date with the relevant reports, checking the readiness of the vehicles, and coordinating with the Guest Services, Transportation and Airport Command Center.
• Provides luggage assistance in the absence of a Bellman.
• Immediately acknowledges the guest with a warm welcome, an offer of assistance, or an expression of gratitude and fond farewell.
• Assists guests transportation needs by hailing taxis or booking public or private transportation services.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- College level of any course or equivalent professional training
Experience Requirement:
- Preferably 1 year working experience as a hotel
- Operation’s front-liner at a 5-star hotel.
Other Qualifications:
- Can stand on their feet for a long period and capable ofworking outdoors.
- Physically fit, no visible tattoos, and at least 5’10’’
