Supervisor - Destination Marketing & Partnership
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Supervisor - Destination Marketing & Partnership (Production, Activation & 3rd Party Events) is responsible for supporting Okada Manila’s strategic goals by managing department-led activations, end-to-end production coordination, and third-party event integration within the property. The role acts as a liaison between the Destination Marketing & Partnerships team, the Corporate Marketing & Communications division, and external event organizers to ensure the successful planning, alignment, and execution of activations and destination-driving events that complement the brand positioning of Okada Manila.
This role focuses on ensuring smooth execution of activations, co-branded and ticketed events, venue buyouts, brand collaborations, and content-generating initiatives that support both corporate visibility and gaming foot traffic.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Work closely with internal teams and external organizers to mount events, shows, and activations that drive visibility and footfall to Okada Manila.
- Act as the lead coordinator for production timelines, technical requirements, pre-event alignments, and onsite supervision during third-party events.
- Liaise with the Corporate Marketing & Communications team to ensure brand alignment, promotional support, and messaging synergy across events and department-led activations.
- Evaluate event proposals and coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., Entertainment, F&B, Security, Hotel Operations, Legal) to ensure feasibility and compliance.
- Support the preparation and execution of events sponsored by or hosted in partnership with lifestyle, entertainment, and media brands.
- Prepare internal documents and secure necessary approvals (e.g., ringi, contracts, SRFs) for partnership-based and externally produced events.
- Assist in the negotiation and fulfillment of benefit exchanges between Okada Manila and partner event organizers.
- Track and report on post-event performance, including attendance, content reach, guest satisfaction, and partnership deliverables.
- Maintain a database of event partners, agencies, and production suppliers.
- Support the development of property-wide destination calendars and integrated campaigns with aligned business units.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education Requirement:
- University degree in Events Management, Trade Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum of 2 years in events production, brand activations, or destination marketing.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or coordination role is an advantage.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong project management and event execution skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Highly organized with attention to detail and timelines
- Confident in managing stakeholder relationships across multiple teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Creative and solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); event production software is a plus
- English is mandatory; fluency in Filipino required. Additional languages (Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) are a plus.
- Must be flexible to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Experience in the hospitality, casino, or entertainment industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with venue layouts, creative and production workflow, and local supplier network is an advantage.
- Proficiency with creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
