Senior Manager - Promotion & Events
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Promotions and Events Senior Manager leads the organization, coordination, execution and monitoring of property-wide, partner and business unit specific events and promotions ultimately for the increase in footfall and the brand building of Okada Manila.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Monitor the timely, creative and effective execution of all events and promotions efforts for internal and external audience
- Orchestrate an efficient workflow for the overall promotions and events team to ensure all aspects and requirements of the projects are acquired and coordinated
- Consistent supervision of the promotions and events team members and individual project performances
- Develop an annual calendar for promotions and events in accordance to the branding guidelines
- Review and approve all departmental request forms, marketing communications, scripts, and others
- Assist in the planning and execution of the property’s events and promotions efforts through research, vendor relations, visual merchandizing and production traffic reports.
- Effective planning, tracking and reporting of the annual departmental budget, proposals, etc.
- Interact with the consumers / team members at the different internal and external events of the property such as concerts, sporting events, live broadcasts, festivals, and fundraisers.
- Work with the events and promotions team, business units and vendors to provide clear communication about all facets of projects through tracking and reports on customer inquiries, issue resolution, engagement reports, and venue statistics.
- Learn key promotional marketing strategies and techniques to apply on each promotion and event effort and break down each event
- Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional collateral on an as needed basis.
- Monitor effectiveness of each promotion and events effort and provide insights and recommendations based on findings
- Complete and accept any projects, tasks, and responsibilities in a good shape that improve the company business assigned by management
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline preferred
Experience Requirement:
- With minimum of 5 years of experience in events, marketing, advertising, etc.
- Experienced in project and people management
Skills and Attributes:
- Must have strong strategic and problem solving skills when
- Should possess multitasking and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and to discern work priorities.
- High level of administrative skills and able to maneuver office systems with ease
- Should be a team player who is able to manage and anticipate the needs of a dynamic team
- Strong presentation and reporting skills
- Highly time conscious in meeting deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communications in English
- Other spoken/written languages is an advantage (ex. Chinese, Japanese and Korean)
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Canva and other marketing tools is a plus
Other Qualifications:
- Flexibility and adaptability in various working conditions and schedules (ex. night shift, weekend work, working outdoors, working for extended periods even during holidays)
- Should be well-connected with suppliers, partners, talent agents, and other industry stakeholders
- Should be comfortable working in a gaming, leisure and nightlife environment
