Senior Manager - Online Gaming Digital & Strategy
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Senior Manager - Online Gaming Digital & Strategy is accountable for the commercial performance, compliance, and player experience of the Live Online Slots, Live Online Tables, and eGames portfolio. The role sets content and product strategy, approves all portfolio selections, and owns end-to-end outcomes across acquisition, activation, retention, average revenue per paying user and lifetime value, brand growth, and revenue—including the design and execution of marketing, loyalty, rewards, and retention strategies.
Directing outcomes through multiple direct reports—including Content & Selection Product Managers and adjacent product/marketing leads—and in close partnership with vendors, aggregators, and internal teams (BI/Analytics, Compliance/Legal, Marketing/CRM, and Technology), the Head ensures a competitive, innovative, and engaging portfolio that meets market demand and elevates the player journey. This includes defining the content strategy and granting final approval for new titles, partnerships, and promotions; prioritizing integrations; and orchestrating go-to-market and lifecycle programs to deliver measurable uplift.
The Head leads the market-sensing agenda (vendor roadmaps, competitor tracking, iGaming events) to spot emerging trends and shape a robust testing pipeline. Combining data-driven performance management with strategic selection and placement (lobby discovery, search/filters, personalization, and promo mechanics), the Head ensures fast, PAGCOR compliant launches, seamless integrations, sustained portfolio optimization, and continuous growth in player value and revenue.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1) Strategy, P&L & Governance
• Own marketing and product P&L for Live Slots, Live Tables, and eGames; deliver Customer Acquisition Cost, Return on Ad Spend, payback, average revenue per paying user and lifetime value, revenue and margin targets.
• Set quarterly Objectives and Key Results, portfolio strategy, and Now/Next/Later roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Establish governance for compliance in line with PAGCOR regulations, RG, and promo approval; maintain auditable records.
• Revenue ownership & targets: Set and deliver topline revenue, average revenue per paying user and lifetime value, margin, and payback goals; maintain healthy lifetime value and customer acquisition cost across channels.
• Revenue planning & governance: Build weekly/monthly forecasts by product line/market/channel; run variance analyses with corrective actions; lead a weekly revenue stand-up and maintain exec dashboards.
• Revenue levers & compliance: Optimize portfolio mix and lobby placement; set pricing/promo guardrails and run loyalty/VIP/CRM programs for incremental ROI; negotiate partner terms; hit targets with zero critical violations.
2) Portfolio Leadership (Live + eGames)
• Approve portfolio selections: new titles, trials, retirements, exclusivities, and partner prioritization across vendors/aggregators.
• Define placement and discovery strategy (lobby tiles, categories, search/filters, personalization) to maximize adoption and session value.
• Ensure performance SLAs, certification, and high-quality integrations with Technology and partners.
3) Marketing, Loyalty, Rewards & Retention
• Own marketing strategy across paid, organic/SEO, affiliates/creators, content/social, PR, and onsite conversion.
• Design and run loyalty, VIP, and rewards programs; set promo guardrails and measure incremental uplift.
• Lead CRM/lifecycle (segmentation, journeys, churn prevention, win-back), coordinating timing with product launches and partner campaigns.
• Operate a rigorous experimentation program across product and marketing.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
4) Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
- Lead Go-To-Market for new live tables/slots and eGames: segmentation, positioning, messaging, pricing/promo, creator/affiliate enablement.
- Set success metrics pre-launch; track adoption, retention, and revenue uplift vs. control.
5) Data, Insight & Decision Quality
- Partner with BI on funnels, cohorts, Lifetime Value and Customer Acquisition Cost models, and revenue forecasting; maintain executive dashboards.
- Translate research (UI/UX usability tests, and player surveys) into validated opportunities and clear bets.
6) Compliance, Responsible Gaming & Risk
- Embed jurisdictional requirements (e.g., KYC/RG, advertising, bonusing, T&Cs) into acceptance criteria and release checklists.
- Achieve zero critical violations; meet SLA on compliance reviews and audits.
7) Partnerships, Affiliates & Ecosystem Development
- Build and negotiate partner roadmaps, commercial terms, exclusivities, and co-marketing; ensure transparent economics.
- Scale high-quality affiliates/creators with compliance-aligned guidelines and performance accountability.
8) Leadership, Talent & Ways of Working
- Hire, coach, and performance-manage a multi-disciplinary team; set standards for craft quality and delivery velocity.
- Run agile cadences (backlog, sprint planning, demos, retros) and monthly business reviews.
- Communicate trade-offs via concise decision briefs; align Execs and cross-functional stakeholders.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Marketing, Product/Tech, or related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years in consumer digital; 5+ years leading Product + Marketing teams.
- Demonstrated ROI in live casino and/or eGaming portfolios in a highly reguated regulated environment.
- Strong track record in lifecycle/CRM, loyalty & rewards, experimentation, and vendor/aggregator integrations.
Skills & Attributes:
- Commercial acumen; analytics fluency (funnels, cohorts, attribution, Lifetime Value and Customer Acquisition Cost).
- Deep knowledge of live casino, RNG/crash/instant-win, bonusing and loyalty mechanics.
- Compliance-first mindset; superb stakeholder management; clear, decisive communication.
