Artist Coordinator

Business Unit:  Casino Marketing
Division:  Strategic Marketing

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Artist Coordinator serves as a key liaison between Okada Manila and the artists and managers providing clear and comprehensive communication. She/He is responsible for managing of the artist contracts and services including but not limited to catering, transportation, accommodation, VISA assistance and scheduling. The Artists coordinator review the artist riders and communicate changes with artists/agents and superiors as well as representing the Performance supervisor on show nights by assuring readiness of artists and venues and assisting with all performance coordination needs.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • He/She is the POC for the artists and is responsible for responding to their queries, assessing and assisting with their needs and ensuring objective communication between Company/artist.
  • Meet and greet in-house and external artists upon arrival as well as processing ID applications and visitor’s pass.
  • Assists the OMEG artists during the entire process of expatriation by ensuring airport pickups, processing move-in forms and being the Company’s representative upon artists arrival in the country.
  • POC for the OMEG artists accommodation by liaising with brokers, artists and PMO and providing quick solutions.
  • Ensure that the Company is complying with the artists’ contractual obrigations and facilitate it such as hospitality riders, accommodation settlement, transactions with brokers, transportation, catering, etc. by coordinating with the Entertainment officer
  • Assists the director, choreographers and supervisors by making sure the artists and relevant equipment are accounted for during rehearsals and shows
  • Coordinate with artists and Performance supervisor for the transportation and pick up of the artists and their equipment’s if needed 
  • Coordinates with artists and relevant business units and ensures performance readiness during events, rehearsals and operations
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Management 

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree of any course or equivalent professional training in entertainment, arts administration, business studies, leisure and tourism, and recreation.

 

Experience Requirement: 

  • At least 2 years of experience in the entertainment and/or administration field

 

Skills and Attributes:

 

Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
o Knowledgeable in computer trouble shooting and networking
o Proven track record with an emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvement
o Excellent communication skills

 

Other Qualifications:


o Excellent analytical and organizational skills
o Problem solving and self-starter skills
o Fluent in both oral and written English and Tagalog
