Executive Host - Business Development

Business Unit:  Gaming (Casino Operations)
Division:  Premium Marketing & Strategic Planning

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Executive Host - Business Development is responsible for monitoring and developing foreign patrons database, ensuring a positive experience during their stay or visit to Okada Manila. Provide guidance to the Hosts in the day to day operations.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Achieve assigned quarterly targets set by the management.
  • Assists in the issuance of complimentary items (gifts, transportation, food and beverage, and/or rooms) while adhering to the standard SOP.
  • Address inquiries and concerns that require the attention beyond the scope of the role.
  • Accurately process transactions, including but not limited to membership sign-ups, redemptions, and complimentary issuances to HVP patrons.
  • Conduct spot audits on tasks performed by the Host - Business Development ensuring accuracy, integrity and personalized customer service to our foreign patrons.
  • Recognize leading foreign players, atrengthen and nurture connections, and develop an in-depth understanding of their preferences and gaming habits.
  • Plan and coordinate business trips for new acquisitions and patron relationship building, traveling to patrons' origins as needed.
  • Collect customer feedback related to programs and services to enhance overall customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Keep himself/herself updated on the latest products, services, promotions, and events. Educate the benefits and privileges to our patrons.
  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, demonstrating respect in all interactions.
  • Ensure the team's adherence to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures and uphold the Service Standards.
  • Communicate and translates to foreign speaking Okada Manila patrons.
  • Assist other divisions with translation requirements for forms and interviews with patrons
  • Performance of additional duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the management.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Minimum High School graduate with minimum 2 year of experience in the customer service industry.
  • Preferably University/College diploma in Hospitality, Marketing or Business Administration but not required.

 

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience within the gaming industry.

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Good presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • With pleasing personality, well groom, and professional demeanor.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Can read, write and speak Mandarin, Japanese, Korea and/or any other language is a requirement.

 

Other Qualifications:

  • Can work in flexible schedules.
  • Able to work outside the standard work week as business needs.
  • Expected to work outside the property
