Scheduler - Workforce Planning
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of Tiger Resort Leisure Entertainment Inc., Workforce Scheduler is responsible for the daily operation relating to pit allocation of appropriately skilled employees, all related matters but not limited to work schedules, general attendance and leave plan of all Okada Manila Departments.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Revises daily pit allocation in a timely manner which fulfills all operational demands in accordance with:
- TRLEI Policies and Procedures
- TRLEI HR Policies and Procedures
- All relevant Departmental Policies
- Ensure all customer receive prompt, efficient and courteous service at all times. This includes verbal communication over the phone, face to face, and written communication.
- Assess and process requests based on business demands.
- Able to operate the office telephone and e-mail for communication purposes.
- Maintains records relating to leave of absences, sick / emergency calls and special days off / leave as they relate to the daily and fortnightly rosters.
- Proactively identifying any shortfalls or anomalies and informing it to the supervisor on duty.
- Attend shift briefing as necessary
- Contributes to create a positive, professional, and highly motivated working environment that promotes and develop teamwork.
- Be familiar with local labor law, company's Time and Attendance Policy & Procedure and other related P&P as this will affect scheduling practices to be implemented.
- Act in accordance with and administer established policies and procedures appropriately.
- Display an advance working knowledge of the software packages used by the department.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- May assume other duties as may be assigned by the superior/s from time to time.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- At least College level
Experience Requirement:
- Hotel casino experience is an advantage but not necessary.
Skills and Attributes:
- Computer literate, with good command of relevant Microsoft Office programs most especially related to word processing and/or data entry skills.
- Knowledge on the use of Scheduling/Rostering system is an advantage but not necessary.
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and action sensitive issues with discretion.
- Presentable, well-mannered and with confident persona.
- Ability to build rapport with all customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of both written and spoken English.
- Must be proactive, professional and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to self-manage time, including the ability to balance multiple request.
- Team player
- Committed to self-development.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules and even during government declared holidays.
