Room Attendant

Business Unit:  Hospitality & Entertainment
Division:  Hotel

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of their assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Attends team briefings for the distribution of work assignments and of information regarding VIP/guest arrival, occupancy, and any housekeeping issues or concerns
  • Monitors rooms to clean or prioritize
  • Ensures cleanliness of assigned areas and completeness of guest materials and amenities
  • Reports and surrenders lost and found items to the housekeeping coordinator for safekeeping
  • Reports room defects to housekeeping command for Facility Team’s rectification
  • Attends Company-initiative trainings and Hospitality Forbes standard trainings
  • Follows all safety hazards and standard sanitation policies and practices
  • Conducts regular inventory of materials and operational equipment
  • Performs other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Management

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Preferably College graduate/at least College Level

 

Experience Requirement:

  • At least 1 year experience in Hotel/Casino Resort establishment

 

Skills and Attributes:

 

  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledgeable in Optiikeeper mobile

 

  • Other Qualifications:
    • Good interpersonal and problem solving abilities
    • Ability to carry and/or move weighing 15 kgs items or  materials
    • Must have an eye for details and meticulous
    • Highly responsible and reliable
