Operator - Surveillance
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Monitor the casino and other areas to detect any violations of the law, internal procedures or illicit and illegal activities including cheating, theft and other undesirable or illegal acts.
Monitor compliance to policies, guidelines and procedures of the company and to safeguard and protect patrons, employees, cash chips, property, and other financial assets.
Review footage as directed to resolve disputes, exceptions and incidents ensuring that such reviews and the findings are checked and confirmed by an authorized senior person on shift prior to returning results of such findings.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Preserve the integrity of the casino operation.
- Monitor, detect and report all irregular, suspicious and illegal activities, providing initial analysis of findings, ensuring appropriate senior team members are informed.
- Report any violations or suspected violations of the law or authorized procedures to Surveillance Management
- Document all activities, reviews, incidents, procedural violations, disputes, equipment issues and other information as directed by Surveillance Management, Surveillance Policies and Procedures.
- Conduct reviews of gaming and cash handling activities as requested by other departments and Surveillance management to ensure that no illegal acts have occurred, procedures have been complied with and integrity has been maintained
- Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Work as a team, follow the chain of command and undertake delegated duties with the objective of assisting the shift in being productive and supportive at all times.
- Check all reports written, footage reviewed and information shared to ensure accuracy and lack of errors or ommissions.
- Ensure that all reviews are verified to a level providing assurance to Surveillance and wider company management that results and information shared relative to such reviews is accurate.
- With direction from the Operations Manager or Shift Manager assist on urgent tasks working with specific staff with the required skill sets to accomplish the task.
- Record and document all errors, procedural deviations, illegal activities using recording mediums and the appropriate reporting systems.
- Participate in the preparation of evidence, provide statements, assist attorneys and others, and give evidence in legal proceedings including appearing in courts of law as and when required
- Comply with the Surveillance Code of Ethics and Surveillance Confidentiality policies at all times
- Complete other duties as required by Surveillance Management

Educational Requirements:
- No specific formal qualifications are required for this role. However, any and all ongoing and completed studies shall be viewed favorably. Engagement in both formal and informal personal development shall be encouraged.
Experience Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Okada Surveillance Training school.
Skills and Attributes:
- Integrity.
- Teamwork
- Strong arithmetic skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in both Tagalog and English.
- Strong observational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
Technical Skills:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to adapt to the introduction of new technologies and systems.
