Officer - Security Control Room
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Security Control Room Officers is responsible for monitoring all non–gaming related operational functions of the Security Department and other areas to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment within the Company is maintained. The Control Room Officer is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to their internal and external customers.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Delivery of Exceptional Customer Service
- Observe and monitor persons on premises using CCTV camera system, respond to person behaving suspiciously or unlawfully and report security breaches.
- Monitoring Security Access System
- Monitoring and coordinating during emergencies.
- Acknowledge, respond and record all Security and Emergency related alarms within appropriate time frame
- Actively participate in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized and the health and safety of all employees is valued
- Provides assistance and information to security operations.
- Deliver CCTV monitoring services to Retailers and Hotel environs as contracted.
- Perform Other Duties as Directed by Security Control Room Supervisor and above.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- Minimum Higher Secondary pass with a fundamental knowledge of all relevant Acts, Law and associated regulations or directives affecting the operation of the Security Department.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience at CCTV Room and Security Officers Duties
- Experience with security access control systems is essential.
- Experience with Photo ID applications favorable.
Skills and Attributes:
- Displays a high commitment delivering and improving customer service.
- Has a strong work ethic.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Verbal and written English is essential.
- Demonstrates advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a must, Japanese, Mandarin speaking is an advantage
- Competent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and keyboard skills.
