Officer - Security Concierge
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Security Concierge Officer is responsible for vetting entry to Casino back of house at staff entrance, providing efficient service to visiting contractors, maintaining secure entry protocols and providing a high level of support and service to all staff, visitors and customers.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Distribute and collect Visitors IDs, Contractor and Staff Passes
- Produce and distribute Staff name badges
- Assist with the management of locker keys and general administration
- Receives and provides accountability for lost and found items within the company property
- Other tasks as directed by the Concierge Supervisor
- Maintain concise and accurate reporting and data for all Staff Entry Systems as directed by Supervisor
- Maintains an effective relationship with staff and customers within the work environment by presenting a professional image and dealing with incidents in a discreet and confidential manner appropriate to the situation
- Manage own performance while assisting junior staff in theirs
- Work in a Socially Diverse Environment
- Maintain Safety of Premises and Personnel
- Deal with Conflict Situations and directly support junior staff as incidents arise
- Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- Tertiary level preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in Customer Service and or Security Officer Duties
Skills and Attributes:
- Displays a high commitment to delivering and improving
- Customer service skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Self-motivated and approachable
- Communicates effectively; fluent in both written and verbal English language
- Knowledge of computer system applications such as Word, Excel essential, experience with Visitor Management and Access
- Knowledge in Control System is preferred
