I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Responsible for the detailed analysis of transactions, checking of various accounting reports and verification of account balances.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Prepares all journal vouchers to record transactions related to Gaming
- Prepares and conducts preliminary verification of daily reports intended for various users
- Reviews and checks specific balance sheet accounts against their expected balances at the end of each reporting period
- Reviews specific daily reports that are submitted to stakeholders
- Coordinates with other team members and departments regarding concerns on expense recording to ensure proper classification of charges
- Performs administrative tasks and coordinates with other concerned units, as necessary, to maintain efficiency and order within the Finance-Casino department
- Performs other job related duties assigned by superiors
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or other business-related course
Experience Requirement:
- Experience in the Gaming industry is an advantage
Skills and Attributes:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Takes ownership of work
- Proactive
- Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles
