Officer - Casino Accounting

Business Unit:  Shared Services
Division:  Accounting

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

Responsible for the detailed analysis of transactions, checking of various accounting reports and verification of account balances.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Prepares all journal vouchers to record transactions related to Gaming
  • Reviews and checks specific balance sheet accounts against their expected balances at the end of each reporting period.
  • Reviews specific daily reports that are submitted to stakeholders
  • Coordinates with other team members and departments regarding concerns on expense recording to ensure proper classification of charges
  • Performs administrative tasks and coordinates with other concerned units, as necessary, to maintain efficiency and order within the Casino Finance department
  • Performs other job related duties assigned by superiors

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or other business-related course
  •  At least 2 years solid accounting experience preferably General Accounting
  •  Experience in the Gaming industry is an advantage
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
