Manager - Creative Production

Business Unit:  Shared Services

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Production Manager to oversee the planning and execution of photo and video shoots and asset development required for creative content. This role involves managing production vendors, operation business units, key functional team in corporate marketing and communications team, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of creative content, including translation services, music subscriptions, and maintaining budget adherence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative production, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial in bringing our creative visions to life through meticulous planning and execution of high-quality photo and video content. 

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Creative Production Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive production plans for photo and video shoots, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with business units, creative teams, involving CMC team to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable production plans.

 

Project Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of photo and video shoots, ensuring all creative elements are produced to the highest standards. Manage on-set production activities, including talent coordination, set design, lighting, and technical support.

 

Vendor Management:

  • Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with production vendors, including photographers, videographers, translators, and post-production services.
  • Ensure all vendors deliver on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

 

Content Deliverables:

  • Oversee the timely delivery of creative content, ensuring all assets meet the specified requirements and quality benchmarks. Manage the subscription and use of music and other creative assets, ensuring proper licensing and attribution.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage production budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost effective use of resources. Prepare financial reports and ensure all projects remain within budget constraints.

 

Coordination and Communication: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and brand management, to align creative production with overall strategic goals. Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any issues or changes promptly.

 

Quality Control: 

  • Implement quality control processes to ensure consistency and excellence in all creative deliverables. Review and approve all final content before distribution, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.

 

Post-Production Oversight:

  • Manage post-production activities, including editing, translation, and final output. Ensure seamless integration of visual and audio elements, maintaining high standards of creative integrity.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.

 

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in creative production management, with a portfolio of successfully completed projects.

Skills and Attributes:

Leadership Skills:

  • Experience in managing a team of project managers, production crew, designers or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing production budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of photo and video production processes, from pre-production planning to post-production.
  • Proficiency in production-related software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
