Engineer - Technical Operations
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
This position is responsible for giving technical support for the maintenance group and controls maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, auxiliary systems, kitchen equipment etc., loose and fixed furniture, lighting, interior design finishes, architectural internal and external finishes, structure, water proofing etc. to approved standards, procedures and time frame. Informs the Manager and the Assistant Manager of any concerns impacting on his ability to successfully discharge his duties.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Operations
-
- Be adept in aware of International and Local Building Codes of all MEPF Systems
- Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, and Contract Drawings.
- Provide Planning input for the MEPF works and Monitor Planning vs. Progress on site.
- Provide program planning capabilities including interfaces and risks analysis.
- Develop Action and Recovery plans to support program delivery on time.
- Ensure smooth and accurate running of operations based on the given tasks.
Quality of Maintenance

- Implement / follow proper QA/QC procedures by maintaining and following Project QA/QC Manual.
- Secure all equipment are updated in terms of preventive maintenance.
Fire Life Safety Maintenance
- Ensure that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply authorities and regulations.
- Provides guidance for technical supports and maintenance.
Reports

- Prepares timely report in accordance with the approved scope and format affecting the other department, efficiency, costs and the like.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to superior.
- Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related degree courses. Preferably Licensed.
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Operations & Maintenance of MEPF systems including Auxiliary/ELV Systems, interior finishes furniture and fittings as well as building envelope and architectural finishes of casinos and large 5 star in the capacity of Duty Engineer or Supervisor or in similar positions.
Skills and Attributes:
- Good working knowledge in PC Skills and use of all MS Office Applications, including Outlook.
- Excellent technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering, as well as maintenance of MEPF systems and ID finishes.
- Good working knowledge of ELV Systems and their maintenance requirements. Knowledge related to maintaining architect finishes
