Coordinator - Promotion & Events

Business Unit:  Gaming (Casino Operations)
Division:  Premium Marketing

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

The Coordinator - Promotion & Events creates mechanics, coordinates with various business units and implements approved promotion, program and/or event.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Plan and execute promotional activities and events to drive customer engagement and loyalty in line with the requirements imposed by PAGCOR and DTI;
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and promotional materials;
  • Coordinate with business units affected by promotions or events, setting up coordination meetings and briefings to align all details before implementation;
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and promotional materials as needed;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative and effective promotional strategies;
  • Conducts simulations and trainings sessions for team members, ensuring a thorough understanding of the event or promotions procedure;
  • Ensures that event mechanics and schedules are followed promptly, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency;
  • Ensures all collaterals, equipment, and other essential items are prepared and organized before the start of the event or promotion;
  • Actively participate in the execution of promotions or events that require the involvement of P&E team members. (e.g., hosting, promotional game participation, etc.);
  • Manage budgets for promotions and events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines;
  • Monitor and analyze the success of promotions and events, providing insights for continuous improvement;
  • Gathers feedback to assess satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement in future promotions and events;
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' promotions to enhance our offerings;
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders;
  • Assist in negotiating and securing partnerships with external sponsors to enhance promotional opportunities and offset costs when applicable;
  • Performance of additional duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the management;

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related degree
  • Fresh graduates may also be considered as long as they have a background in Marketing;

 

Experience Requirement:

  • At least 1 year experience in Casino Marketing, Promotion & Events;

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint);
  • Multitasking skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Planning and time management;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Fluent in both oral and written English;
  • Can perform hosting and voice-overs, although this is not mandatory, having this skill is preferred;
  • Able to work on a shifting schedule, overnight, weekends, overtime or holidays on a rotation basis
