I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Provides exceptional customer service in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by Okada Manila.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Promotes the hotel’s services and facilities to the guests
- Provides exceptional customer service to the guests\
- Communicates unsafe acts and practices to concerned department heads for appropriate actions
- Manages the security of luggage deliveries and collections
- Handles outside errands for the guests (i.e. pick-up/deliver of packages, passport formalities, revalidation of flight tickets)
- Maintains all equipment in good condition
- Attends training program organized by the hotel and other departments
- Participates in hotel activities and is fully aware of all the entertainment shows and events taking place in and out of the hotel
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- College Level of any course or equivalent professional training
Experience Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience at the concierge in a 5 Star Hotel
Skills and Attributes:
- Knowledgeable with Front Office operational systems such as Opera Property Management System
- Has the ability to stand in a long period of time
- Amenable to work in a flexible shift (i.g. graveyard, holidays, and weekend shift on rotation basis)
- Consistently well-groomed
- Customer-focused
- Has the ability to multitask
- Computer Literate
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
