Auditor - Gaming Audit

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Auditor - Gaming Audit performs audit completion of gaming operations by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing daily transactions and reports in compliance with the standard operating procedures and government regulations.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Performs daily audit of Cage, Table Games, Electronic Gaming Machines, and Marketing transactions
- Gathers all audit-related documents to ensure that transactions and reports are substantiated with references
- Prepares daily/weekly/ monthly reports including, but not limited to, liability, accruals, cash clearing, etc.
- Organizes table games and electronic gaming machines daily flash reports by conducting revenue reconciliation through the collection, review, and analysis of transactions as recorded in the system and on actual documents
- Observes soft count procedures by witnessing daily cash count of table games and electronic gaming machines bill drop
- Prepares audit exception report as irregularities occur or non-conformance to standard operating procedures and regulatory standards and addresses it to the personnel involved
- Witnesses stress test performed by gaming operations personnel of electronic gaming machines with PAGCOR to check if transactions are accurately recorded in the systems and/or the machine meters
- Performs monthly and unscheduled inventory checks by witnessing actual count by cage personnel of cash, cash equivalents and chips, as well as, occasionally performing count of promotional vouchers, etc
- Assists internal and external auditors and other relevant stakeholders by providing them with requested documents to ensure timely completion of audit
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any Business-related degree program
- Certification as Public Accountant is preferred
Experience Requirement:
- At least 2 year experience in Financial and Operations Audit/Accounting
Skills and Attributes:
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge on in-house or back office systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to set-up and maintain complex calculation spreadsheets
