I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Provides assistance to the manager and supervise the team to ensure smooth planning and execution of all events and promotions
II. ORGANIZATION SCOPE:
Reports To: Manager, Promotions and Events
Supervises: Supervisor, Promotions and Events
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Plan and execute promotional activities and events to drive customer engagement and loyalty in line with the requirements imposed by PAGCOR and DTI;
- Manage budgets for promotions and events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines;
- Monitor and analyze the success of promotions and events, providing insights for continuous improvement;
- Gathers feedback to assess satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement in future promotions and events;
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' promotions to enhance our offerings.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders;
- Assist in negotiating and securing partnerships with external sponsors to enhance promotional opportunities and offset costs when applicable;
- Develop and implement comprehensive crisis management and contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and ensures execution during unforeseen circumstances;
- Support the Promotions and Events Manager in developing and executing a comprehensive and strategic vision for the promotions and events program;
- Collaborate with the team to implement innovative promotional strategies aligned with organizational marketing objectives;
- Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of partnerships with external sponsors and vendors to enhance promotional opportunities and offset costs;
- Contribute to the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of promotions and events;
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to assess market trends, analyze competitors, and identify opportunities for program improvement;
- Support the training and development of team members, ensuring a high level of expertise within the promotions and events team;
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations, including coordination with business units, execution of promotions, and resolving operational challenges;
- Act as a liaison between the Promotions and Events Manager and the team, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment with departmental goals;
- Provide input into the development of training programs and resources to enhance the skills and capabilities of the promotions and events team;
- Performance of additional duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the management;
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- Degree in Marketing or related discipline is preferred;
Experience Requirement:
- At least 3 years in Marketing or Events & Promotions experience is preferred;
Skills and Attributes:
- People Management;
- Performance Management;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications;
- Events Management;
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and meet strict deadlines;
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business;
- Highly motivated and enjoys working as part of a team;
- Willingness to work extended hours required to meet deadlines;
- Fluent in written and oral English;
- Knowledge of other Asian language is an advantage;
- Must possess financial reporting & budget maintenance skills;
- Knowledge in probability and statistics;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
