Assistant Manager - Casino Accounting
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
The Assistant Manager - Casino Accounting plans, administers and implements processes & procedures, in coordination with the Manager- Casino Accounting, for the timely and accurate production and analysis of financial reports. The incumbent is also tasked to assist the Accounting Manager in attending to the inquiries from various stakeholders
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Plans and assists the team in performing the accounting processes to properly present Gaming transactions and render required reports, in a timely and efficient manner
- Assists in reviewing the team's work to develop more efficient procedures in carrying out the tasks
- Ensure that the day to day transaction posting is managed properly and accurately
- Prepares and also reviews specific reports assigned to the team before sending out to intended users
- Assists in Gaming financial report analysis
- Reviews account reconciliation to ensure accurate ending balances each period and identify needed adjustments
- Prepares work schedule of the team on a bi-weekly basis ensuring all required tasks are adequately covered and accomplished
- Assists in internal and external audit requirements
- Supports budget and forecasting activities
- Performs other duties as may be assigned
IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
Graduate of BS Accountancy
Experience Requirement:
At least 5 years of solid accounting experience in supervisory level, preferably in General Accounting
Skills and Attributes:
- CPA license is required
- Proficient in MS Application, especially in MS Excel
- Good background in accounting, principles, standards and best practices
- Above average communication skills
