Play Marshal
I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all areas. Assist coaches with programs and activities and ensure the safety and security of all guests while maintaining personalized, pleasant and service oriented guest interactions to ensure a fun experience at Kid's Club (PLAY).
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Maintain readiness and cleanliness of all areas by cleaning equipment and play areas as determined by Policy and Procedures. Report area concerns to Play Supervisor.
- Ensures proper set-up and break-down of area equipment on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all equipment associated with service function at all time.
- Assist in providing information to guests.
- Assist in conducting pre-booked and walk-in site inspections.
- Diligently complete facility inventories in a thorough and timely manner.
- Encourage active play and interactive play with other children
- Assist in resolving any guest issue or complaint while ensuring guests' needs are met. Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to the management.
- Attend and adhere to training and guidelines on service quality, product knowledge and obligated technical skills and/or required by the company.
- Maintain and continually improve product knowledge and hotel services to ensure guests receive accurate and timely information.
- Adhere to and exhibit pro-active performance in accordance with internal policies by taking responsibility for ensuring the workplace is free of unacceptable workplace behavior.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by management from time to time.
III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirement:
- Degree holder is a plus but not required.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
Experience Requirements:
- To have worked in hotels before (preferred)
Skills and Attributes:
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Extrovert, proactive, responsible, alert and agile
Other Qualifications:
- Physically fit and active
- Pleasant personality, efficient and tactful.
- Energetic and positive.
- Can communicate in English Consistently well-groomed.
- Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis
- No visible tattoo
